Stilwell is a 501(c)(3) organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
As a locally operated non-profit, we are not reporting to stockholders or concerned about meeting corporate financial goals. We are in the business of serving the people for whom Stilwell is now their home.
Stilwell’s Endowment Fund prudently invests principal and part of the interest which this fund earns is used to benefit our residents.
Stilwell receives numerous donations. These donors generally give to benefit various new and/or ongoing projects:
* Kate Bell Residents’ Assistance Fund ensures that those with limited resources can continue live at Stilwell.
* Library Fund provides a wide selection of large print books to sustain residents’ enjoyment of literature.
* Residents Activity Fund is utilized at the discretion of the Residents Council for projects beyond the scope of Stilwell’s budget that enhance the experience of residency
* Improvement Projects Fund goes to ongoing efforts to modernize Stilwell’s physical plant.

Our residents will tell you; Stilwell is “the best bargain in town”. With all that Stilwell has to offer, perhaps the biggest benefit is the price. All meals, maintenance service, weekly housekeeping, basic utilities, access to our 24 hour emergency alert system, plus a wide variety of activities and programs are all included in one monthly rate! Our rates are lower than similar retirement facilities, plus we charge no entrance fees, lease, or deposit.
Single Studio Suite is for 1 person.
Just the right size, with ample closet space, a built-in bookcase & desk, linen closet, plus a mini-kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator & storage space. There’s even a separate storage locker for off-season clothing, boxes, etc. We supply the carpeting and drapes and residents bring their own furnishings.
Double Studio Suite for a couple or for 1 person
This unit has all the amenities of the single studio, but with more floor space, plus an extra closet.
